An English actress and filmmaker. She was born on July 17, 1984 in London. She is the daughter of the actor Bill Nighy and the actress Diana Quick. She was educated at City of London School for Girls and Westminster School. She graduated with first class honors in English from University College London in 2006. She is a former member of the National Youth Theatre. The short film Player in 2009 is considered one of her first female directorial works. She participated as an actress in the movie The Lost Prince in 2003.
