A Turkish actress, born in Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from Robert College, then she studied at the Istanbul University Faculty of Literature. Years later, she moved with her family to France, then traveled to the United States to obtain a master's degree from the University of North Carolina, and continued her academic career by obtaining a doctorate from the same university. She worked as a director and actress in plays at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Tisch Theater at New York University. In 2000, she received the World Theater Award for her role in the play The Time of Cuckoo and was nominated for the Drama Desk Award. She also won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 52nd Antalya International Film Festival and the 27th Ankara International Film Festival for her role in the movie Çırak. Her most important works include the series Ne Gemiler Yaktim (2023), Ufak Tefek Cinayetler (2017), and the movie Çiçero (2019).
