An Australian actress, singer and dancer, born to a Singaporean-Chinese mother and a Japanese father, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She trained in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance from a young age, then had several experiences in musical theater and then turned to screen acting. She also worked briefly as a corporate lawyer. Among her works are Secret City, The Bureau of Magical Things, and Rip Tide.
