Turkish director and producer who was born on August 9, 1930 in Samsun, Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law. He is the son of producer Naci Duru. He started working as a production supervisor in 1955 and started working as a director in 1960. He founded the company Murat Film. He's known for The Dark-Veiled Bride (1975), Bedrana (1974) and Derya Gülü (1979). He died on February 21, 1988 in Istanbul, Turkey.
