He was an American actor born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 1, 1917. Tracy was married to actress Lois James and they had a daughter before they divorced. He played Sgt. Dorian "Dodo" Doubleday in eight films from 1941 till 1952, including Tanks a Million (1941). He's known for Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), Terry and the Pirates (1940) and The Shop Around the Corner (1940). He died in 1967 at the age of 49.
