An American actress, born on February 25, 1942, in California, USA, to a mother who worked as a teacher and a father who owned and ran a real estate company. She attended Ventura High School, then obtained BA degrees in both English and Dramatic Art from the University of California, Berkeley. Karen was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in England. Her works include Little House on the Prairie and Wyatt Earp.
