American actress, journalist, author, artist, and photographer. She was born in New York City, USA. She grew up in Greenwich Village, where she attended elementary school and then the High School of Art and Design. She appeared in many plays and began her film career in Santini the Great (1979), The Sure Thing (1985), When Harry Met Sally...(1989), and The Cotton Club (1984).
