A South Korean-American television and film actor and theater director, born in Mokpo, South Korea. He studied at Yonsei University in South Korea, then immigrated to the United States and studied at the University of Southern California. He's known for his voice performance of Fa Zhou in Mulan (1998). His other credits include The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Final Countdown (1980), and Beverly Hills Ninja (1997). He was called a pioneer of Asian American theatre. He died on April 4, 2018, at age 85, in Los Angeles, USA, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
