Australian-American actor and stuntman, born as Frank Clarence Baker in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on October 11, 1892. He began his career in silent films and continued his activity after the introduction of sound into films. He made his debut in Harmony in A Flat (1916) and moved from Australia to Hollywood in 1923. He was a member of the informal John Ford Stock Company as he appeared in 17 of Ford's films. He made his final film appearance in Herbie Rides Again (1974), after which he retired. He was married to Helen Elizabeth (Ingram) Bronough from 1929 until she died in 1972. He's known for The New Adventures of Tarzan (1935), Scotty of the Scouts (1926) and The Call of the Heart (1928). He died on December 30, 1980 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.
