American actress, born in Magnolia, West Virginia, on July 17, 1923. She was married twice and had two children. She was a radio singer in Seattle before moving into films. Her film debut was Aerial Gunner in 1943. Ward's major works include: The Jungle Captive (1945), Seven Days Ashore (1944) and Clancy Street Boys (1943). She died on April 26, 1987 of breast cancer.
