A Chinese-British actress, born in Shanghai, China, as Tsai Chin Zhou. Her father was actor Zhou Xinfang. She was the first Chinese student to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She received a master's degree from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is known for Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), Casino Royale (2006), and Now You See Me 2 (2016). She got married several times and has one child. She won a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Featured Performance for The Woman Warrior in 1995.
