A German model, actress, and producer, born in Frankfurt, Germany, to Punjabi parents who immigrated from India to Germany. She is the sister of singer and producer Bono Brar and completed her education in Germany and obtained a bachelor's degree. She was discovered by Indian director and actor Dev Anand, who introduced her to the Hindi film industry when she was thirteen years old, appearing in his film Pyaar Ka Tarana (1993). Her work followed in films such as Gangster (1994), Jung (1996), Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999), and Pitaah (2002).
