An American actress, she was born in Illinois, on November 27, 1925. She married the producer and director Jerry Thorpe in 1951 and their marriage ended in divorce in 1972. She appeared as a dancer and actress in many MGM musicals. Her most important works are: Brigadoon (1954),...Read more Copacabana (1947), and Words and Music (1948). She retired from art until her marriage ended in the early seventies, and she continued to live in Florida until she died in 2007 at the age of 82.
