British actress of Indian descent, born in London. She studied acting at the Academy Drama School in London. After graduating, she began her career in theater, appearing in productions at the Royal National Theatre and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. She is best known for her roles in Citizen Khan (2012-2016), Hollyoaks (2017-2024), Thunderbirds (2004), and It's a Wonderful Afterlife (2010).
