A British actress who was born in Gorrock, Scotland, United Kingdom on November 7, 1926 and died in Watford, Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom on March 22, 1992. She married director, producer, and writer Basil Dearden (1947-1971) had two children, and she remained with him until his death. She is known for Horror of Dracula (1958), Journey to the Unknown (1968), The Avengers (1961-1963), and The Secret Partner (1961). She became a Scottish film and television actress, and her first feature film was The Locked Room (1952). Her last work was the movie, Paris by Night (1988). She died in 1992 at the age of 65.
