A Moroccan director, cinematographer, and photographer born in 1983 in Settat. He worked as a cinematographer before pursuing a career in film directing. He won Best Cinematography at FESPACO for the film They Are the Dogs and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the African Movie Academy Awards in Lagos, Nigeria for the film A Mile in My Shoes. He also directed the short films Shadows Museum (2006) and Les Vagues du temps (2011).
