A Japanese actress, born on November 9, 1960, in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto, Japan. Her works include Gina K (2005), Fîmeiru (2005), and Aya (1990). She won Best Supporting Actress at the 9th Yokohama Film Festival for Chôchin as well as at the 13th Hochi Film Awards for A Chaos of Flowers, Hope and Pain, and Wuthering Heights.
