A French-Canadian actor, critic, playwright and musician, born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The son and grandson of musicians, Letondal studied music before becoming an actor, theater director, screenwriter and radio host. He made his debut in the film The Razor’s Edge (1946), while his last appearance was in the television series The Star and the Story (1956). He's known for Monkey Business (1952), Madame Bovary (1949) and The Big Clock (1948). He died of a heart attack in California, USA on February 15, 1955, at age 54.
