An American actor, born in Northeast Harbor, Maine, USA, on October 22, 1891. Parker Fennelly married Catherine Reynolds (1918-1988). They had two children, and she remained with him until his death. His most notable works include The Trouble with Harry (1955), Headmaster (1970), and The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming (1966). American character actor Parker Fennelly worked in film, theater, and television, and also participated in hundreds of radio programs. He was the son of a gardener and studied classical acting in Boston, where he was a member of the Toy Theater company. Fennelly was one of the pioneers of American radio in 1920. After a period of performing short plays in touring shows accompanied by his wife, he made his Broadway debut in 1924 and continued to work in theater and radio until the late forties, when he began appearing in television and film productions. He died in Peekskill, New York, USA, on January 22, 1988, at the age of 96.
