An American theater, TV, radio, and film actress, born on May 31, 1915, in New York City, New York, USA. She was the daughter of actor David Mitchell "Dave" Pepper. At the age of 16, Barbara began her career in showbiz with the Goldwyn Girls. During the Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s, Barbara incorporated radio and film work, playing small roles. Her first film appearance was as a slave girl extra in Eddie Cantor's Roman Scandals (1933). She is best known for Our Daily Bread (1934), Foreign Correspondent (1940), Kiss Me, Stupid (1964), and Green Acres (1965-1968). Barbara Pepper died on July 18, 1969, in Panorama City, California, USA, at the age of 54, of coronary thrombosis.
