A Cuban actor, born in Havana, Cuba. He was married twice and had no children. Among his most important works are Kiss and Make-Up (1934), Reckless (1935), Wise Girl (1937), and Soledad (1947). He worked in American and Mexican cinema, playing Mexican characters, various types of employees, waiters, vendors, conductors, dancers, and noble characters such as the count, prince, baron, or marquis. He died in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, on August 27, 1993, at the age of 86.
