An American actor, born in California, USA, on April 10, 1871, as George Thomas Morrell. He married Rosalie, who remained with him until his death. His most important works include The Utah Kid (1944), Custer's Last Stand (1936), Gold Fever (1952), and Valley of Terror (1937). George was a prolific film actor. He played minor roles, most of which were of a townsman, a rancher, or a drunk. He also presented the roles of a juror, waiter, bartender, poker player, gambler, sheriff, settler, doctor, guard, dancer, clerk, and party guest. He died at the age of 84 in Los Angeles, California, USA, on April 28, 1955.
