An American actor, born in New York City, on March 27, 1894. His most notable work includes Nix on Dames (1929), The Invisible Man (1933), and The Farmer's Daughter (1947). He began his stage career on Broadway in 1898, and his film career in 1929. He played a variety of roles until the mid-sixties, when he concluded his artistic career by working on television, as his last appearance was in the series Brenner (1964). He died in New York City, on February 1, 1966.
