British actor, born on October 21, 1926, in Liverpool, England. He got married to actress Gillian Raine, and they have a daughter. Among his most famous works are: 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Oliver! (1968), and The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976). He died on October 5, 1984, in Soho, London due to a heart attack, at the age of 57.
