An Indian film actress, born to a father from Lahore and a mother from Peshawar, who moved to Kashmir during partition. She worked in Hindi-language films made her debut in Johar-Mehmood in Goa (1965). She worked with entertainment industry pioneer Dev Anand in Akalmand. Her other credits include 36 Ghante (1974), Johar in Bombay (1967) and Superman (1987).
