Indian actress, born in Bombay, British India. She is the daughter of the famous Indian filmmaker . Shantaram, and actress Jayashree. She began her artistic career in the 1950s, then immigrated to the United States with her husband, where she ran a clothing business. Her works include Sagaai (1966), Brahmachari (1968), Around the World (1967), and Suhaag Raat (1968).
