An American actress, born on December 16, 1985, in Great Neck, New York, USA, to a father of Syrian Jewish and Egyptian Jewish descent and a mother of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. She majored in drama at Ithaca College, graduating in 2007. She studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, in an IES program in her junior year. Moreover, Amanda completed a comprehensive, two-year Meisner technique program at the Actor's Workshop of Ithaca under the supervision of Eliza VanCort. She is best known for Sex and the City (2008), What Happens in Vegas (2008), and One Life to Live (2009-2011).
