French actor, born in Montmorency, Seine-Oise department, France. He made his debut in 1931 with the movie Sola. His works include The Tamarind Seed (1974), I Confess (1953), and À moi le jour, à toi la nuit (1932). He died on February 9, 2000, in Paris, France, at the age of 88 years old.
