A British rock guitarist, composer, and actor, born on June 24, 1944, in Wallington, Surrey, England, United Kingdom. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice; as a member of the Yardbirds in 1992, and as a solo artist in 2009. In 1990, Beck received the Joseph Jefferson Award Citation for Musical Direction for "Methusalem". His credits include The Boat That Rocked (2009) and Risky Business (1983).
