An Irish actor, born in Dublin, Ireland, as Oswald Joseph Collins. He was educated in England, after which he left for the United States in 1917 and found his calling in silent films, such as Tarzan of the Apes (1918) and its sequel, The Romance of Tarzan (1918). He continued to work until the late twenties, and when sound arrived, he worked extensively, but in smaller roles such as Alice in Wonderland (1933) and Captain Blood (1935). His final appearance was in Hotel (1967). He's known for Booloo (1938) and The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on December 2, 1968.
