However, joining his high school's drama department led him to the Professional Actor...Read more Training Program at the University of Washington, Seattle, where he was one of 12 people accepted out of over 1,200 applicants. Patrick married ballet dancer Carlyn Rosser, and they later moved to New York, where he appeared in a few plays. He also had small roles in film and television. In 1986, Patrick suffered a major tragedy when his parents were murdered by teenagers who raided their bar in Montana, but he continued to work after that. His most notable credits include the TV series Man from Atlantis (1977–1978), Dallas (1978–1991), Don't Look Behind You (1999), and He's Such a Girl (2009).
