A Japanese actor, born and died in Tokyo, Japan. He began his voice acting career with roles in the television series Ken the Wolf Boy (1963-1965). His most famous works include the television series Cyborg 009 (1968), the film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984), the television series Dragon Ball GT (1996-1997), and the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (2013).
