A Spanish actress, born in Barcelona, Spain. She was educated at Clifton High School, Bristol, England, and studied under Eileen Hartley Hodder. Upon graduating from high school, she qualified as Lower Cambridge but was accepted at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the University of London's Drama Program on a full scholarship. Helena is a licentiate of the London Guildhall School of Music and Drama and holds a Certificate of Arts Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, USA. She has performed and directed in theater, film, TV, and radio in 16 different countries. She started her professional career performing "Marry Rose" in Inverness, Scotland. Also, she played various roles on stage in Oxford, Manchester, Bristol, Canterbury, Gloucester, and Liverpool. She is best known for ITV Play of the Week (1957), The United States Steel Hour (1959), and The Diary of Preston Plummer (2012).
