A New Zealand actress, born and raised in Wellington. Her father is a theater actor and her mother teaches acting. She graduated from Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School in 2007 and has gotten heavily involved in the arts industry in New Zealand. Three years after her graduation from Toi Whakaari, Sophie won the 2010 Chapman Tripp Theatre Award for Actress of the Year. Her notable screen credits include Westside (2015-2020), Everything We Loved (2014), and Encounters (2021).
