A Japanese director, born on September 26, 1932, in Kagoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. His works include Voltes Five (1977) and Perman (1967). Tadao Nagahama is best known as the director of Sunrise and Toei Company's Robot Romance Trilogy, which is responsible for adding human drama to the Super Robot genre. He died on January 14, 1980.
