An American actress, born in Arkansas, on October 5, 1925. Since the beginning of the fifties, she began participating in television series that present the works of the American West. She won a Golden Boot award in 1994, and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960. She got married 3 times and had one daughter. Among her most important works: Brand of Fear (1949), Six Gun Mesa (1950), Pack Train (1953) and Law of the Golden West (1949). Her last work was The Andy Griffith Show in 1961. She died in Los Angeles on March 15, 1997 of brain cancer.
