An English actress born in 1941 in Romford, Essex, UK. She trained at the Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance as well as the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She began her career on stage and made her TV debut in 1978. Her notable works include Coronation Street (1960), Hotel Babylon (2006), and The Way (2010). She died on 12 January 2012 in Lambeth, London, UK.
