A British actor, born on February 1, 1950, in Greasby, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom. John got married three times, the last of which was to Emma Bowe, to whom he has been married since 1995. He was trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His works include Prime Suspect (1991), The Living Daylights (1987), and Secret Smile (2005).
