She is an Indian-Filipino model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2014. She was born in Duabi and graduated from the University of the Cordilleras with a BS in Nursing. She is fluent in English, Tagalog, Pangasinense, Hindi, and Arabic. She is the second of four siblings. Parul Shah was handpicked to represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2015, where she placed 3rd runner-up. She made an appearance in Apartment: Rent at Your Own Risk (2010) and The Guru (2002).
