She was a French actress, born in Paris, France, as Mélanie Louise Trochard. Her first appearance was in The 400 Blows (1959). She is known for This Man Must Die (1969), Donkey Skin (1970), and Violette (1978). She died at the age of 89 on June 22, 1986.
