He is an American actor and singer, born in New Jersey, USA. He is of Nigerian descent. He attended West Orange High School and joined the New Jersey Youth Theatre. He studied at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He is known for Hamilton (2020) and A Quiet Place Part II (2020).
