An American actress, born on March 18, 1916, in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Jody had her own music show on local radio in her hometown while still in high school. Later on in her teens, she toured the South, performing in musical comedies; however, she realized that she wouldn't get any good roles in New York's theater. She studied voice and acting at Columbia University and graduated from Pasadena Playhouse. Among her first notable roles was that in Never Give a Sucker an Even Break. She played numerous roles in films, as well as on radio and television. She died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on February 3, 1979, from complications from a car accident.
