A French actor, born in Casablanca, Morocco. He debuted in Dr. Knock (1951). Among his works are The 400 Blows (1959), Coplan prend des risques (1964), The Tenant (19679, and Les grandes conjurations (1978-1979). He died on December 25, 1985, in Paris, France.
