American actress who appeared in films and TV series from the 1940s to the 1970s. She was born on December 9, 1925 in New York City. During World War II, she participated in a six-month USO tour across the South Pacific, where she did tap dancing and acting in plays. Her acting career began in 1949 with TV series, such as A Woman to Remember. She is best known for The Doctors (1973-1975), Producers' Showcase (1955) and Jeremy (1973). She died on June 3, 1986 in New York City.
