English actress, born on July 13, 1933 in Ashford, Kent, England. She attended Ashford Grammar School, she studied drama at Rose Bruford College before joining the Royal Shakespeare Company where she played roles as Maria in Twelfth Night and Gruscha on the Caucasian Chalk Circle at the Aldwych Theater in the early 1960s. In the 1980s she also worked in the Chichester Festival Theatre. She is best known for Les Misérables (1998), Blackadder Back & Forth (1999) and Watching (1987). She died on June 17, 2014 in London.
