An American actress born in Columbus, Ohio, USA on March 15, 1907 as Leoda Carole Knapp and died Blaguna Niguel, California, USA on February 7, 1998. She married Richards Charles (1928-1950), had a daughter, and remained with him until his death. She is known for Quincy M.E. (1983) and Senior Prom (1958). She was trained as a dancer and performed three musicals on Broadway. She appeared in dozens of films and television programs as party guest, spectator of shows, passenger on planes and ships, club goer, reporter, and maid. Her first film was A Date. with Judy (1948), and her last work was Murder She Wrote (1986). She died in 1998 at the age of 91.
