An American television host and comedian, born on October 23, 1925, in Corning, Iowa, USA. He won 6 Emmy Awards. After graduating from high school and joining the US Navy during World War II, Carson joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he participated in student theater activities. After graduating in 1949, Carson began his broadcasting career in Omaha, and in 1951, he began working as a broadcaster for a Los Angeles television station. Carson is known for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962-1992), Fargo (1996), Looking for Love (1964), and Blind Target (2000). He died on January 23, 2005, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
