An American actor, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, USA, as Milton Lieberman. He married two wives and had one child. His most important works include The Atomic Kid (1954), Dragnet (1987), M Squad (1959), and The Silent Service (1957-1958). He appeared on television more than 8000 times. He was a popular voice actor for radio, television, and animated films. He was educated at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York, received a scholarship from John Marshall Law School, which he attended for a year, and received a scholarship at the Group Theater of New York. He first appeared in a small role in Public Enemies (1941), appeared on Broadway with Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, and accompanied Bob Hope on 14 international tours with the USO. He died in Los Angeles, California, USA on November 12, 1996 of cancer.
