An American actress who was born in Los Angeles, California, USA, as Bernadette Joan Withers. She married twice and had two children. Her most important works include Bachelor Father (1957), Shirley Temple's Storybook (1958-1961), and It's a Man's World (1962). She appeared in movies and TV series. She began her film career as a child actress at the age of nine and continued her artistic career until the age of 21. Her first work was Finger Man (1955). She was a guest star in many TV series. Her last film was The Trouble with Angels (1966). After she stopped acting, she became a partner in a software company. She died in Dana Point, California, USA, on October 25, 2019.
