An American actress, born in New York City, New York, USA on February 10, 1902, as Lottie Reiben and died in New York City, New York, USA on June 20, 1979, of a stroke. She married Herbert H. Pollock (1923-1979), had 6 children, and remained with him until her death. Her most important works are The Pawnbroker (1964), Death Play (1976), and Such Good Friends (1971). She debuted on Broadway in 1956. Her first appearance on TV was in The Ford Theatre Hour (1949), and her first film was The Last Angry Man (1959). Her last appearance was in the 1976 film Death Play.
